Oakfield - Alabama CSD cut the ribbon on a new gymnasium floor at the high school. The new floor is part of the district's $17.8 million capital project that kicked off this summer.
"This is a shining achievement of our whole capital project," said Peter Bueler, who is a Social Studies teacher, Cross Country & Track Coach, and 2005 O-A grad. "Thank you for the community, the taxpayers, for allowing us to improve our school. This is a three-year process, but ladies and gentlemen, this is the gem. This is the shining moment."
