Key Employee-Owners Promoted In 2023

Campus Construction Management Group is pleased to announce the following staff promotions taking effect on January 1, 2023. Through hard work and dedication, each of these employee-owners have excelled in their roles, consistently demonstrating the Campus management and leadership qualities that our clients and our teams rely on. Please join us in congratulating them all on their excellent work.

Jared Miller has been promoted to Project Executive. Jared joined Campus in 2015 and has shined in the roles of Field Manager, Project Manager and Senior Project Manager since then. Jared brings more than a decade of experience in civil engineering and construction management to the Campus team and has managed over $500 million in project value for Campus clients. In his new executive leadershi prole, Jared will provide overall direction and support for multiple projects and teams in the Rochester / Finger Lakes region.


John Burris has been promoted to Project Manager. John started at Campus as an intern and earned full time status in 2020. During that time, John has worked as an Estimator and an Assistant Project Manager. John has been a hard-working team member involved in a variety of Campus projects including Webster CSD’s $43.5 million Spry Middle School Cafetorium Addition, Tonawanda City SD’s $53.3 million Elementary Consolidation, and Fairport CSD’s $56.8 million dollar renovations. He brings a background in civil engineering and excels at leading meetings and maintaining open communication with his team, architects, contractors, and project owners. In John’s new role as Project Manager, he will continue to provide project team leadership and support, managing construction project schedules and budget, and coordinating the flow of communication between owners, contractors, and architects.


James Kendrick has been promoted to Senior Field Manager. James started at Campus in 2019 as a Field Manager and has over 35 years in the construction industry. Since joining Campus, James quickly demonstrated that he is knowledgeable in all areas of construction, from pre-construction through project closeout. His knowledge and experience have been a tremendous asset on the complex projects he has worked on with Campus, including Brighton CSD’s $65 million additions/renovations project, Fairport CSD’s $56.8 million project, and Geneva City SD’s $25.2 million capital project. In his role as Senior Field Manager, James will take a lead role in overseeing field activities for his projects and be responsible for construction schedules, field coordination, and team leadership support on projects.


Mike Perkins has been promoted to Senior Field Manager. Mike joined Campus in 2018 as a Field Manager and has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry that includes municipal, commercial, and residential projects throughout the Buffalo Niagara region. Mike has worked on a variety of projects with our Western NY teams, including Sweet Home CSD’s $39.9 million project, Springville-Griffith Institute CSD’s $27.8 million additions and renovations and $14.7 million P-TECH projects. In his new role as Senior Field Manager, Mike will lead project field activities, be responsible for project schedules, field coordination, and team leadership support on projects.
