The Town selected Campus to manage its $9.4M waterfront improvement project which included:
- REDI Lake Rd Improvements: landscaping, sidewalks, parking, drainage/utilities
- REDI Flood Wall: raised park area, concrete flood walls, vegetated earthen berms
- Park Improvements: shade structure, play area, restrooms, kayak launch, dock
Partial funding was provided by Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI), Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, and the Department of State.
Project challenges included the proximity to Irondequoit Bay (NYS Class A Wetland) and Lake Ontario, seasonal availability of the Outlet Bridge to access the area, coordination with the NYS Historic Preservation Office & the Seneca Nation of Indians, and adhering to grant requirements to ensure full reimbursement.
