Sledgehammers Clear Way for Lakeshore CSD's Phase 2 Capital Project

Lake Shore CSD Kicks Off $20.3M Capital Project

On February 17th, with sledgehammers in hand, the Lake Shore CSD project team began demolition of the press box to mark the beginning of the Phase 2 Capital Project. 

The $20.3 million project was approved by voters in May 2023. The endeavor will modernize learning spaces as well as create state-of-the-art athletic facilities. Work will be phased over multiple summers and includes installation of air conditioning at the high school and classroom renovations with new LED lighting. 

The athletic campus will see momentous improvements and reconstruction. Once complete, Eagles will enjoy multi-sport turf fields, grandstands with 1,600+ total seating capacity, and fully upgraded LED field lighting and professional scoreboards.
