Pine Valley Ribbon Cutting: A Decade in the Making

Pine Valley CSD is a rural district that covers portions of Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties. School meals have always been made at the Elementary School with food then trucked over to the Jr/Sr High School. Last week, Campus participated in a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of a kitchen at the Jr/Sr High School along with completion of auditorium renovations at the school. 

Leslie, the Kitchen Manager, has been fighting for a kitchen at the High School for over a decade! It was her goal to see a kitchen installed before she retired. This was her LAST “first day of school” serving food…but with a long-awaited twist! This one was bittersweet!
