Field Trip Brings Bloomfield Students to Campus

Over the past few weeks, every Campus employee has had an opportunity to take advantage of a professional development training series at the Corporate Headquarters in Pittsford. It might be surprising to learn that last month Campus had a classroom full of high school students from Bloomfield CSD drop by to learn a thing or two for themselves.

Mike Scrivens, with support from guest speakers Jason Hannon, Sam DeRosa, and Tracy Thomas, delivered a presentation on Careers in Construction to the class and teachers, along with a pizza party and some great Q&A. The students were surprised to learn about the many different career pathways and professional opportunities that are available in construction — especially the stories about how many Campus team members have progressed from high school to the positions they are in now, and the many twists, turns, and unexpected opportunities that came along the way.
