Campus Staffers Build Excitement for Careers in Construction at Avon CSD

Recruitment & Engagement Specialist, Mike Scrivens and Project Manager, Ryan Dempsey were guest speakers last week at Avon High School as part of their Career Conversations series.

They spoke to students about career options in the construction industry and what a typical day is like on the job. Campus is currently serving as the District's Construction Manager for their $23.9 million 2022 Capital Improvement Project, so Ryan & Mike took the opportunity to explain work that has been completed in District schools recently as well as upcoming work that will be performed.

Campus is always open to presentations such as this as a way to engage students and demonstrate our higher level of commitment & involvement when partnering with Districts on capital projects.

For Avon, Campus was invited through participation in the Livingston County Area Chamber of Commerce's Career Presenter Series.
