3rd Grade Enrichment Class at Spencerport Reports on Vestibule Progress

A thoughtful presentation recently came out of a 3rd grade elementary class in one of the buildings currently under construction in Spencerport. This was an enrichment class that Field Manager Mike Ingalls met with monthly to talk about the new addition being built.

The students were provided with blueprints and renderings of the space, and each time the Campus team visited, the class would have a list of questions about what they had seen happening. The team would also give them a heads-up when major construction activities were scheduled so they could take pictures from inside.

The final meeting with the class took place yesterday so they could see the space one more time before returning in the fall to a completed building. The Principal's plan is for the class to give a presentation to the entire school in the fall, explaining all the steps that go into construction leading up to the finished product.

This was a great experience for the Campus team to see kids so interested in construction and to help them understand what they were observing.

One student in particular is definitely on track to be an engineer—when complimented on his advanced questions, he proudly shared that he plans to work at NASA one day!
