Wellsville CSD Breaks Ground on $25 Million Improvement Project

Athletic facilities, elementary school, and bus garage get a welcome overhaul.

Campus CMG project managers Mark Voorhees and Melissa Shutt are helping Wellsville Central School District dig into a $25 million project that will give the Home of the Lions a competitive edge.

The project includes a new state-of-the-art bus garage, classroom renovations at the elementary school, and improvements to the district's indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. Wellsville's student athletes are looking forward to new tennis courts, a renovated baseball field, a new weight and fitness room, and a $2.5 million football stadium that will also support track & field events and soccer games. "The intent is it will be ready for the fall season next year," Voorhees informed reporters.
