Fairport HS & Jefferson Avenue ES Cap District-Wide Roof Replacements

Work is complete for 660,450 square feet in roof replacement across Fairport Central School District’s eight schools, as well as the Baumer Administration Building. The $15.9 million in roofing and masonry restoration is the first of two phases in the district's capital improvement referendum approved by voters in 2015. Jefferson Avenue Elementary and Fairport High School culminated the district-wide roof work over the summer of 2017, making way for second-phase improvements at Fairport High School, Minerva Deland School, Northside Elementary, Dudley Elementary School, and Martha Brown Middle School.

Phase two of the $29.2 million capital project focuses on facilities designed to improve Fairport’s physical education and athletics programming. This past summer, three new playgrounds were installed for climbing, swinging, and jumping students at Dudley, Jefferson Avenue, and Northside Elementary Schools. Student-athletes with Division I ambitions will suit up for their next big game in Fairport High School’s brand new locker rooms, while the fans who love them line up for admission in an upgraded events entry and foyer.
