Entryway Security Renovations are Top Priority for Livonia CSD Capital Project

Livonia Central School's recently approved capital improvement project will bring $7 million in improvements to the Livingston County district. Security improvements topping the priority list include reconfiguration of the main entryway and vestibule area.

A security window at the front office will enable office staff to clearly see and interact with anyone seeking entry, and a wider vestibule will improve flow between the auditorium entrance and the building entrance for high volume events. Superintendent Matt Cole told 13WHAM reporters “We take any measure we can on the preventative side, but also on the structural side to improve that.” For 13WHAM's full coverage, including renderings of the planned renovations, click here.
